Pope Benedict Resigns – St. Malachy’s Prophecy

Is The End of The Roman Catholic Church Near?

Pope Benedict Resigns his papacy as Lightning Strikes the Vatican!

Pope Benedict announced that he will resign the papacy on February 28, 2013 as lightning strikes the Vatican at the end of the news broadcast on Canale 5 in Italy. He is currently 85 years old, and stated that he didn't have the energy or health to continue with the strenuous duties as the Holy See any longer. This is the first time in history that this has happened like this!

And, it was even prophesied around 1,000 years ago by St. Malachy and then later by Nostradamus. St. Malachy gave a list of all the popes from the current of his day to the last one in a list that showed characteristics of how each Pope would be known. It has been remarkably accurate, including saying Pope Benedict would have a very short reign!

Prophecies of St. Malachy and Nostradamus say so!

Who was Saint Malachy? St. Malachy was an Irish Saint and the Archbishop of Armagh who performed many miracles in his days in the clergy. He is best known for his Prophecy of the Popes, in which he lists the Popes from his days till the end of the age and the destruction of the city of seven hills (Rome itself.) He was born in the year 1094 and passed on on November 2, 1148). In his astonishing prophecies he gives the number of Popes (111), plus the transitional one known as “Peter The Roman” which will see the destruction of the church in the end of the current age.

His list of Popes gives clues as to the identity of each successive pope until the last one. Pope Benedict he said would be known by the “Olive.” Pope Benedict (Joseph Ratzinger) is from an order known as the Benedictine Order. This christian order is identified by an “Olive,” on their coat of arms, as I'm sure you guessed by now. He is known as the Glory of the Olive.

Here is what is said regarding this end time Pope:

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End. You can see the seven-hilled city in Plate 49 (Peacetalks between the 2 arab/christ) and Plate 51 (City destroyed)

Nostradamus (https://nostradamus.nostradamia.com – Official French Site) has also written some of his famous quatrains that talk about this time in general and the end of the church as it's been for the last 2,000 years. Here is a good brief video from the History Channel that makes clear what this means to the Church as well to end times prophecy in general. It is kind of bizarre that it is right around the time of 2012 as well. He wrote his prophecies nearly a millenia ago!

However, time is running out. Their own prophecies say that they have one pope left to go. This pope will have a short reign by his own comments. Perhaps even that will be too long for some. Even so there will be a great threat to the very existence of the Roman Catholic system. One reign will be short and the second reign will be cut short. Then, by their own words, Rome will be destroyed and “the terrible judge” will judge the people. – Christian Churches of God

It looks like we're in for some exciting times to say the least. Let's hope that it's more of a spiritual transformation, and the shaking off of the negative aspect of the church, rather than total destruction. I feel that it's just the “awakening” of all humankind away from religion and into spirituality, where unity is embraced and separation is left aside.

We're more the same than we are different, and most everyone would wholeheartedly welcome more love, abundance in happiness in our world. Together we can all make it happen. So, here's to a brave new world and one filled with peace and positive transformation. We are the ones we've been waiting for – Gandhi.
